Had so much fun today at NEMUA (http://northeastmakeupacademy.co.uk) doing a professional photo shoot to get images for my portfolio. I had the pleasure of working with the gorgeous model Chloe Henderson-Painter, which made my job so easy!
My vision for the shoot was to keep the look quite editorial and to go wild with colour. I took inspiration from a bracelet made of Aurora Borealis crystal and used different shades of pinks, purples, blues and greens to mimic the rainbow shimmer. The eyes were complete with a subtle eyeliner flick and mascara. I finished off the look with a matt skin, adding just a hint of contouring with bronzer and highlighter.
I styled Chloe's hair in a high Pony tail and subtle curl to one side so it didn't distract from the makeup, but i couldn't resist adding the bracelet as a headpiece!
I was so proud of the overall look and can't wait to get the professional shots from Matthew Skelton Photography (http://www.mskeltonphotography.com). I'll post them for you all to see when I get them.
